Tracy Scoggins born as Tracy Dawn Scoggins on November 13th, 1953 in Dickinson, Texas is a wonderful American film and television actress besides being an accomplished athlete and sportswoman with innumerable trophies won in gymnastics and springboard diving.
Tracy Scoggins was born to Lucille Scoggins, a highest ranking tennis player in Texas and father Scoggins, a distance swimmer, runner and a Golden Glove boxer. Tracy's parents were both attorneys.
Tracy was born twenty years later after her parents got married. A high school graduate from Dickinson High School, Tracy Scoggins later took her degree in physical education and speech communications from Southwest Texas State University in Texas. She later worked as a physical education teacher for a while when John Casablancas the then president of Elite Modeling Agency spotted her and signed her as a model for a year. Tracy who became a renowned model in New York quickly moved to Europe becoming a top model in France, Germany and Italy.
Since the acting bug was biting her all through her growing years, Tracy returned back to United States for a fulltime career in acting. She began taking acting lessons at Herbert Berghoff Studio and the Wynn Hanmann Studio.
